ACCOUNTS / OFFICE MANAGER

Let's be clear from the start, the role will be varied - your objectives will be to use your skills to enhance our current processes and drive us to ensure we have smooth account and office procedures.,

• Credit control - raise invoices and send out customer statements, ensuring that payments are received within our terms and in chasing overdue payments. Keeping regular liaison with clients


• Purchase Ledger - cross check invoices to purchase orders for

authorisation and inputting onto Xero system. Prepare creditors report to process the monthly creditors payment run

• Banking - reconciling our bank account to Xero each day, recording of petty cash, coding and inputting credit card statements to Xero


• Update cash flow spreadsheet daily


• Prepare month end accounts


• Compile reports and information for our accountants and senior management at year end


• Support in the negotiation of any annual contract renewal terms


• Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT return


• Compile any other weekly and monthly reports to senior management as required


• Liaise with our Payroll company on a monthly basis to ensure payroll is correct and timely including end of year and P60's. Plus P45's for any leavers


• Other administration associated with the accounting function


HR/Office Duties

• Maintain of HR records including the recording of Holiday/Sickness, Performance and up to date personal records


• Ensure the maintaining of our insurance details including policy details, renewal dates etc


• Maintain Company car details including service/MOT dates


• Business support to keep the office functioning well ie. stationary, expenses, meeting and event bookings


• Ad hoc duties as requested by the Managing Director including assistance in preparing any presentation materials and research projects, Google Rating

We are looking for an ACCOUNTS/OFFICE MANAGER with at least 2 years experience in a similar role and with a strong Accounts background.

You may already be in a similar role but feel that you want a fresh start in an agency that will give you the opportunities to develop yourself, and 'make a difference'.,
• AAT Level 3 or equivalent


• Xero software experience


• Worked in a similar accounting role for a minimum of 2 years


• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills


• Confident with IT, in particular with the use of Excel and PowerPoint


• Accurate with an eye for attention to detail and discretion with confidential information


• Self motivated with the ability to work unsupervised


• A flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude
