Full Job Description

The Black Country Living Museum is seeking an Admissions Team Member to join the Visitor Welcome and Admissions team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Museums front line, where you'll be helping visitors transcend into the past by creating a seamless experience.

What are the duties?

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors.

  • Checking, scanning, and selling tickets.

  • Ensuring the welcome centre is tidy and well-presented at all times.

  • Handling face to face admissions queries.

  • Helping customers navigate the museum.

  • Operating the Museums Admissions IT systems (Tessitura).

    Respectful and confident people skills.

  • Enthusiasm for offering high level customer service.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Flexible approach to work and hours of work.

  • Confident IT Skills.
