Full Job Description

In this hands on role you'll provide technical leadership for the operation, development, and the direction of Inenco's Technology vision and the Technology department. You'll oversees all IT, Systems, Applications, Networking, Infrastructure, and Telephony services for the business. Working proactively with colleagues to improve existing solutions as well as proactively future proofing the technology function, focused on delivering business benefits.

  • Extensive generalist IT experience of managing IT Development, Testing and IT Operations. Demonstrates expertise and experience in a variety of topics, concepts, practices, and procedures including:


  • o Web and portal development.

    o Data warehousing.

    o Different methods - e.g. Agile and Waterfall delivery, and an understanding of when to apply them.

    o Enterprise architecture with significant data volumes and usage patterns

    o Database products.

    o Data management.
  • Experience in an equivalent management role and SME environment providing support for multiple sites and a colleague base of circa 300 remote/hybrid/office users.

  • Experience of delivering services consumed by customers as well as internally.

  • Experience of developing an IT strategy to ensure systems are scalable and can assist the business to maintain a leading-edge service proposition.

  • Experience of direct team management, leading a small team of small teams.

  • Proven experience in managing large complex IT projects with multi-function teams and 3 party vendors - including project methodology and best practice.

  • Ability to prioritise customer issues and problems

  • Strong IT-supplier management experience for one-off and ongoing contractual arrangements.

    Salary £85k-£100k per annum with a performance related bonus
