Full Job Description

The National Exhibition Centre specialises in creating outstanding events and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business System Advisor to join a lively and dynamic team. This Fixed Term position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career and gain hands on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

What your day to day responsibilities look like:

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and ongoing development of all catering core systems to ensure the systems are delivered effectively within the business.

  • You will maintain the core catering systems, to ensure quality management information can be produced regularly to aid and improve operational activity.

  • You will ensure that sensitive personal data is kept in a secure environment in line with our company policies.

  • You will guide the catering team on the use of core systems. This will involve responding to system-related queries and resolving them.

  • You will support the delivery of the catering strategy to ensure the department maintains high standards and deadlines are met at all times.

  • You will ensure all venue-related invoices are processed within the provided deadlines.

  • You will demonstrate a professional approach on every occasion to both internal and external customers.

    Are you a strong communicator who is computer literate with a high understanding of Microsoft Office? Do you have strong analytical skills and are looking to build your experience within a systems role? Then we want to hear from you!, Computer literate to a high level with Microsoft Office and other systems.

  • Good time management and organisational skills, with a proactive and flexible approach.

  • Able to self manage.

  • Demonstrates excellent customer care and team working skills.

  • Good communicator, both written and verbal to all levels with the ability to exercise discretion when required.

    This role is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months as a result of maternity cover.
