Full Job Description

The post-holder of this bespoke placement will assist with key communications functions, with a specific emphasis on supporting and promoting the work of our Trust Non-Medical Education teams to ensure our students and pre-registration teams experience outstanding placements, in order to attract and retain our workforce of the future. The postholder will also support other teams within the Care Quality Directorate, including promotions and campaigns, responsibility for the production of the Care Quality Directorate newsletter, social media for key members/teams in the Care Quality Directorate and Website Management.

  • Direct and create patient / staff stories

  • Create and design posters / leaflets / screensaver / presentations / videos for relevant events / campaigns

  • Attend Events as a Communications Champion / Ambassador

  • Support post-event communications and celebrations


  • Freedom to act

  • Act as a communications champion and ambassador for the Care Quality Directorate with the media, patients, public, external organisations and other key stakeholders
