Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our Nursing home and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our residents. If you have a passion for food, excellent culinary skills, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards

- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and develop new menu items

- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

- Train and supervise kitchen staff members

- Assist in the development of menu pricing strategies

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or similar setting

- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team

- Strong communication skills

Additional Skills:

- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required

- Experience in menu planning and development is a plus

- Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques
