Chef de Partie

Responsibility for the kitchen's Starter & Cold Section
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner during busy periods
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Assist Sous Chef on the Head Chef's days off

Previous experience working in a culinary or kitchen environment is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work daytimes, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

The Olde Victoria in Burton Latimer is a privately owned, independent pub and restaurant. Twinned with our sister pub in Kingsthorpe (The Olde Cobbler) we're working at capacity and we need you to help us grow!

We're seeking out a Chef de Partie to join our small team. This is not a Zero Hours contract, we're looking for a hard working and reliable chefs to work 40 hour weeks. A fair share of the large tip pot each month, staff discount for you and your family & free meals on duty are a given.
