Full Job Description

You will be responsible for the cleaning and clearing of empty properties (voids) including the outside of the property and loft spaces of all furniture, white goods, carpets and general waste.

What you'll be doing

  • You will assist with the removal of household goods and personal effects following a customer's tenancy coming to an end.

  • You will maintain a high standard off cleanliness with in the homes you are responsible for; making sure it meets health & safety requirements and is left in a suitable state for trade operatives to work in.

  • You will often need to change locks & fit key safes' making sure the home is secure

  • You will need to also clear & tidy the gardens and outsides of the homes e.g. strimming, cutting grass, hedge cutting, removing rubble, filling ponds & levelling soil

  • You will remove any items left within the home and make sure that they are disposed of correctly following health and safety guidance and

  • You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation and records for any weigh in waste, in accordance with Great Places Environmental Management Policies and Procedures.

  • Treating our homes with respect marinating high standards of health and safety & reporting any concerns to your line manager.

  • You will look after the equipment provided to you keeping it in clean and fit working condition.

    A full clean drivers licence

  • Ability to work as part of a team or on your own

  • Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines.

  • Similar experience ideal but not essential

  • Demonstrate a positive can do attitude

  • A flexible approach to the working day, For the purposes of our van fleet insurance you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and complete an on-line driver monitoring Assessment prior to starting your role. If you are under 21 but with 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence you would be required to complete an on-line driver monitoring assessment and additional in vehicle assessment prior to starting your role funded by Great Places.
