Full Job Description

We at SWG Group are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a high-profile extension and refurbishment project in Wrexham City Centre. The successful candidate will oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The Construction Project Manager will report to the Contracts Manager and manage the Site Manager and other site personnel.,

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the construction project, from planning through to execution and close-out.

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Manage and coordinate the work of the Site Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.

  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.

  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor quality and progress.

  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.

  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or safety.

    A minimum of 7 years' experience in construction project management.

  • Relevant construction management degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Extensive experience with Grade 2 listed building refurbishments.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, etc.).

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cardholder (preferable).

  • First Aid at Work qualification.

  • Full UK driving licence.
