Full Job Description

NB THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS. THE POSITION IS PART TIME WORKING 2.5 DAYS (17.5 HOURS) PER WEEK., We are looking for a desk-based Educational Consultant to join our vibrant Secondary Sales team on a 3-month fixed term contract. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Through a consultative sales approach, question to unlock all the customers' needs and be able to match them to OUP's products and services

  • Responsible for adoptions and delivery of sales revenues of OUP's school products and service

  • Responsible for retention of digital services

  • Responsible for closing sales to achieve project target

  • Work with your Field Based counterparts by passing on sales appointments where appropriate.

    To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience of selling print and digital products and services

  • Experience of selling to educational establishments

  • Proven track record in sales or educational teaching experience

  • Consultative Sales Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability deliver sales presentations to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Ability to think creatively, independently, and flexibly
