Full Job Description

To support the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Systems department, developing skills in electrical and electronic circuit design, wiring harness design and manufacture, test rig design, specification, build and commissioning, power electronics, embedded safety critical system design, software development and more.

What You'll Do:

  • Comply with statutory requirements and stringent organisational safety requirements.

  • Producing or using Electrical or Electronic Drawings, using CAD.

  • Using wiring and testing electrical equipment, assembling, and testing electronic circuits

  • Using computer software packages to assist with engineering activities.

  • Producing engineering project plans.

  • Meet the entry criteria for the Electro-Mechanical Degree apprenticeship at ARU: https://www.aru.ac.uk/study/degree-apprenticeships/apprentice/our-courses/electro-mechanical-engineering

  • Commit to full participation in the apprenticeship, fully funded by Lotus, who will provide you sufficient time for off the job learning, in accordance with apprenticeship rules.

  • Regularly travel to the University's Peterborough campus, whilst undertaking studies.
