EMC Programme Engineer

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that contributes to the management of Vehicle EMC sign off.

The successful candidate will support the full product lifecycle, from concept to end of volume production and will play a key part in ensuring all JLR vehicles meet the necessary legislative, corporate requirements and quality attributes.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Assist Senior EMC Program Engineer in understanding of program content and vehicles required to ensure all required variants are tested to JLR standards


• Support selection of requirements and planning of tests against to meet appropriate engineering gateways.


• Production of test plans for vehicle chamber and support test engineers to complete the necessary testing.


• Planning of workshop activities to ensure vehicles fit for test once delivered from Pilot Build.


• Evaluating test results.


• Support vehicle EMC issues resolution.
  
  Relevant previous experience in a similar EMC engineering role


• Understanding of EMC theory and design principles, and experience of practical implementation


• EMC test experience


• Experience of JIRA


• Full and Clean Driving Licence
