Full Job Description

Our Flight Planning & ATC Duty Manager will be responsible for the 24 hour management of the Flight Planning & ATC Team, including Operational Flight Paperwork distribution, Air Traffic Control Slot Management, network updates and operational decision-making as well as maintenance of the Company's flight planning system. Our Flight Planning & ATC Duty Manager will work closely with the wider Operations Team to ensure excellent service delivery and that operational targets are met., Our Flight Planning & ATC Duty Manager manages the Flight Planning operation, analysing all delays allocated to all Jet2.com flights in relation to Air Traffic Control regulations. Through effective team management, you will maintain the quality of all Jet2.com flight plans, holding responsibility for the timely delivery of briefing packs on outbound and return sector flights, and ensuring that all operational information including Met and NOTAM packs are produced accurately. In addition, you will:

  • Lead our Flight Planning & ATC Controllers and Coordinators in the day to day management and reduction of ATC Slot delays, ensuring that all Jet2.com bases and destinations are monitored and that the Operations Team are informed of any matters which may disrupt the flying programme

  • Collate information for new routes to build information packs

  • Support your line manager and the wider Operations Team with reporting, analysis and administration as required.

    This is a rostered position working across a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern to meet the demands of the flying programme., Our Flight Planning & ATC Duty Manager will be highly organised, have an analytical mind and an understanding of flight operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an aviation environment. You will also be:
