Global IBP Demand Leader, Downstream and Consumables

Our Global IBP and Demand Leader, Downstream HW and Consumables facilitates and drives integration of the monthly Integrated Business Planning process for the Downstream business. As such you are a key partner to senior leaders in Product management, Finance, Supply and Manufacturing functions. You are also responsible for delivery of key KPIs and PPIs.

Additionally, as Global IBP and Demand Leader, Downstream HW and Consumables you are responsible for consolidating the sales forecast coming from the Regions, and for being a key, operational interface with Plants and Supply Planning to ensure that Supply Plans fulfil the needs of our customers and that any gaps are understood and clearly articulated. You will

demonstrate ownership and play an important part in establishing feedback loops, transparent communication and fair demand and supply matching; facilitating key decision-taking with direct customer impact.

This position is part of the Supply Chain Operations located in Europe and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Facilitate and drive implementation of Integrated Business Planning process for the Downstream Business unit.


• Drive long term IBP initiatives to align supply and global demand with strategic and financial growth models. Ensure one strong demand signal drives supply for the business, and feeds business decision-taking processes


• Representing the team in reviews in senior level, business reviews


• Deliver KPI / PPI targets that are linked to the IBP process for the Downstream business


• Establish and drive process to ensure clear communication around supply & demand imbalances, including a fair allocation (vs forecast) of supply when constrained.


• Support the regional demand planning teams through established and regular processes and coaching / supporting identification of continuous improvement actions to improve integration with Commercial teams and supply chain efficiency.
  
  Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years' experience in Supply Chain


• Understanding of IBP and demand planning processes and systems


• Sound understanding of Supply Chain planning and manufacturing planning principles and processes


• Demonstrated analytical skills including proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint


• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects/process improvements


• Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments.


• Excellent communicator: able to influence at all levels of an organization, cross-functionally and cross-culturally. Articulate and capable of distilling simple, relevant messages from multiple sources of complex data


• Identify and lead actions to deliver the IBP vision through the established framework


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals industry
