Full Job Description

Reporting to : HR Director, Ornua Foods and Ingredients, Devise and implement a People Plan for the business which is aligned to the business strategy and local business plans, in close collaboration with key stakeholders e.g. local Executive Teams, Global HR Director, local HR Business Partners.
Play a strong leadership role as a member of the respective OIE and Ingredients International Executive Teams, that are responsible for business strategy and direction.
Lead a high-performing HR Team of Business Partners and HR specialists, while collaborating closely with the People Services Team and Ornua's Global HR Centres of Excellence in Talent Development, Talent Attraction and Reward, to maximize HR service delivery to the business units.
Drive focus and improvements across the full employee lifecycle Oversee the people aspect of change programmes and initiatives, ensuring such matters are handled in a constructive, timely and sensitive manner Successfully lead and implement employee engagement initiatives, harnessing their outcomes to leverage improved business performance.
Leadership development planning and delivery in cooperation with key stakeholders. Coaching leaders and sourcing or delivering programmes to support their development.
Provide expert and proactive advice to senior management and the business on ways to leverage talent to maximize business performance.
Seek opportunities to further increase HR effectiveness and efficiency, via policies, practices and approaches across the broad spectrum of HR.
In conjunction with the Reward Manager, ensure a fit for purpose reward strategy and framework is in place and oversee the smooth running of the annual pay review process. Own the annual HR budgeting and headcount planning process, tracking the progress of same throughout the year.

A relevant HR (Bachelor's level) degree (or relevant field) or post-graduate qualification. Significant experience in a HR/people environment at a senior level, ideally gained in an international environment. Excellent people leadership skills with a clear commitment to developing talent
Demonstrated experience in organisational change programmes and resolving complex employee relations issues. Skilled across wide range of strategic HR practices, including: talent management, resourcing, development, employee relations, organisational development and change Fluent in Spanish/ English due to regular travel to our Spanish site

Ornua is actively seeking a Head of HR to join our HR department as we continue our growth trajectory. As the Head of HR you will serve and support both the OIE and Ingredients International business units, which are based across sites in the UK, Spain and the Middle East & Africa. You will ensure the delivery of the Ornua Talent Strategy in these regions, a key enabler of business success.

The role will report directly to the HR Director, Ornua Foods & Ingredients, with a strong dotted-line relationship to the Managing Director, Ornua Ingredients Europe .

Location: Nantwich, UK (Regular travel to Spain required for monthly meetings, around 3 days per month, with occasional international travel)
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
