Full Job Description

The Head of Sales & Coaching is responsible for the operational delivery of all commercial activities across all divisions of the business, smashing revenue targets and achieving growth through successful management and development of the team, · Assist Head of Commercial in interpreting and delivering the sales strategy and targets, ensuring delivery of quality of service, productivity and profitability.

· Achieve growth and exceed revenue targets by successfully managing and developing the team, setting individual and team targets, training and mentoring, setting desirable incentives and measuring results, improving conversation quality and conversion.

· Develop, train, mentor, instil excitement and encourage competition within the team.

· Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with other Heads e.g., Marketing Manager to understand lead source; Head of Events to understand commercial goals at events & webinars; Head of Finance for payroll, commissions and other financial information, Business Analyst to develop solid reporting structures etc.

· Develop and implement proactive outbound promotions and react to impromptu offers and other activities supported by Head of Operations.

· Set and communicate revenue and customer service KPI's and targets to the team and monitor individual performance.

· Report weekly on performance against revenue targets to Head of Commercial and Managing Director.

· Distribute lead flow fairly and equitably; ensuring the team update the CRM accurately with all appropriate data, giving constructive feedback at all times to ensure continual improvement.

· Increase call volume and maximise sales opportunities, monitor quality of conversations, ensuring opportunities are maximised and that customer requirements are understood and met.

· Encourage cohesiveness in the team and actively manage individuals to ensure the most impactful performance, continuously supporting them towards success.

· Recruitment and on-boarding of new team members across the sales teams; including weekly meetings with new starters to ensure they are happy and working effectively.

· Train, coach and mentor the team on techniques and overall business objectives, both in live scenarios and planned sessions.

· Hold daily team talks (huddles), weekly product and service training meetings and ad-hoc communication briefings, as well as individual performance reviews, through one to ones and annual appraisals.

To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees.

You will drive a focus on excellence, deliver the highest level of customer account management and continuously seek to maximise opportunity, through strong leadership, a deep knowledge of the business, our products and vision.

We are looking for a proved highly successful sales leader who is passionate about revenue growth and has the ability to coach, advise and motivate across the whole sales teams., · Active listening and strong communication skills

· Strategic planning and analysis skills.

· Proactive lead generation

· Proven coaching skills with a sales telephony area.

· Ability to develop new sales strategies and implement them.

· Collaboration and motivation skills.

· Competent report structuring, to include the ability to understand and interpret KPI's, as well as offer insightful commentary that can inform the direction of the business.
