HEALTHY LIFESTYLES ACTIVATOR

Hull City Council Healthy Lifestyles Team have an opportunity to join the team and deliver frontline services to some of Hull's youngest families. The position will contribute towards local families having the best start in life, promoting healthy behaviours at the earliest opportunity., Daily duties amongst others could include delivery of workshops to promote health behaviours, pregnancy physical activity sessions, attending events or the co-ordination of activities in local Family Hubs. Successful candidates will link with partners from Early Help, Health Visiting, Maternity Services to Family Hubs and voluntary/community partners.

The role is delivery based with elements of co-ordination, evaluation and administrative tasks. Successful candidates will ideally come from a health, fitness and/or wellbeing background or have experience of working with parents, engaging with families and young children., Disability Confident

The role is full time (37 hours per week) based in the east of the city covering The Acorns, Marfleet and Little Stars Family Hubs.
