Housekeeper

We are looking for a Housekeep to join our team. We seek someone who is professional, a team player and who can interact with students whilst completing their day to day tasks. This role will be between our 2 Sheffield cites based in the City Centre and Kelham Island.

- Keeping communal areas of Capitol Student clean and tidy including office area, reception, security, lifts, stairwells, corridors, laundry, common room, toilets, courtyard and car park.

- Cleaning surfaces in communal kitchens and corridors in student areas.

- Sanitisation of all touch points throughout the building.

- Role includes washing, dusting, vacuum cleaning, wet vacuum and sweeping as appropriate.

- Occasional deep cleaning of rooms after a tenant has left ready for new arrival.

- Assisting with turnaround of short stay rooms.

- Making up rooms with mattress protectors and gifts for newly arriving tenants.

- Storage of cleaning equipment in appropriate manner in accordance with Health and Safety policy.

- Recording stock levels of cleaning equipment and informing administrative team when replacement stock is needed.

- Assist in performing deep clean of building during annual building turnaround time.

- Maintaining a good relationship with tenants.

- Assisting management team in ad hoc requests as appropriate especially at peak times such as move in and out period. This will require performing extra hours in addition to your contracted term.
