About the Opportunity

Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.

Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.

Jacobs are seeking an Information Management Lead to support rollout and embedment of information management standards, tools and protocols with Tier 1 suppliers in line with Sizewell C Digitalisation, Data and Information Management Strategy.

The role reports to CWP Engineering & Technical Data and Digital Lead, and interfaces with the central IM function, design delivery managers across CWP scope, as well as Tier 1 supplier Information management teams to implement consistent ways of working for information delivery and management across the programme. Key responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting definition of information delivery processes, tools and guidance material

  • Engaging with PMs and other CWP functions to support definition of contract-specific EIRs in line with central EIR template and the roll out of the information delivery tools and protocols

  • Development and delivery of information management training for PMs and other functions

  • Support gathering and assessing business requirements for information management workflows and tools

  • Engage with T1 suppliers and delivery organisation to embed EIRs and IM standards and procedures

  • Support PMs in roll out of EIRs into T1 contracts (e.g. attend supplier briefings, respond to clarifications)

  • Engage with Tier 1 suppliers on information delivery expectations post contract awards

  • Definition and implementation of MIDP platform and processes

  • Support PMs in management of MIDPs from suppliers

  • Work with BIM managers and central IM team to develop and implement specialist workflows for review and acceptance of data deliverables (3d, GIS, data sets)

  • Monitor compliance with SZC IM protocols and templates across the programme

  • Implementation of procedures for quality checking of deliverables to ensure compliance to EIR in respect to naming and nomenclatures in EDRMS

  • Administration, configuration and access to SZC EDRMS for CWP contracts

  • Developing reports out of EDRMS platforms to support the management of CWP design and construction supply contracts

  • Good understanding of infrastructure project delivery processes and challenges

  • Experience in information management and delivery roles on major infrastructure projects and practical deliverables management processes and platforms

  • Understanding of ISO19650 concepts and principles and practical implementation within project delivery organisation

  • Experience in developing and using MIDP tools and processes.

  • Experience in developing information management execution plans.

  • Engaging with and communicating with suppliers around information / deliverables management

  • Experience in working with BIM managers and information managers in developing and implementing specialist workflows for review and acceptance (3d models, GIS, datasets)

  • Awareness of commercial implication of information requirements

  • Good project management and self-organisation skills

  • Understanding of CDE tools and processes for information delivery within major infrastructure projects including Asite, Projectwise, and Teamcenter
