Junior Alloy Wheel Technician

The role will include, but is not limited to:

• Removal/refitting of wheels


• Removal/refitting of tyres (all types)


• Use of a wet blasting machine


• Prepping alloys


• Cleaning machinery


• Cleaning workshop


You will also have the opportunity to learn:

• How to paint alloys


• Using a CNC lathe machine


• Managing the workshop


• Understand the mixing of paints/lacquers etc.


• Understanding the usage of fillers


Although a background in the automotive industry would be beneficial to this role, you will receive complete training enabling you to transform wheels to the highest standard. Working with the public and trades will give you a better understanding of the business and the standard we set for the work we produce.

This is a full-time role. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Saturdays 9am - 3pm.

  Rim Rescue are looking for a junior alloy refurbishment technician to join a small team in Romford, Essex. This is a physical role so you will need the ability to use your strength on a regular basis, previous experience working in the automotive industry would be preferred., tyre fitting: 1 year (preferred)
