Full Job Description

  • Do you hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher)?

    Bradford Grammar Junior School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant.


  • The working hours are :-

    Full-time, term-time (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)

    The successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement agreed teaching programmes to support access to learning for individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom and to have regard for the aims and objectives of the Junior School and its policies, working efficiently as part of a collegial and smooth-running Junior School team.
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) is required for this role

  • Relevant experience in Reception (EYFS) and a thorough understanding of the EYFS statutory framework

  • Ability to empathise with the needs of the children.

  • Has a passion for education.

  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills and a sense of humour.

  • Well organised and punctual.

  • Excellent IT skills.

  • First aid qualification - desirable
