Learning Business Partner

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for designing & delivering learning interventions whilst supporting business growth? Are you adept at forging partnerships and driving innovative solutions? We're seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join us as a Learning Partner!

This is a key role within the Talent and Organisation Effectiveness Team, who maximise the performance of the RS business, by pulling the levers of high performance at an individual, team, and organisational level.

What you will be doing:

• Work closely with the People VP and People Partners of Accelerating and Enabling Functions to determine and prioritise capability needs & learning requirements.


• Partner with key leaders and stakeholders to diagnose business requirements and feedback into the OE function to determine potential solutions and interventions.


• Design and deliver digital and blended learning interventions and implement regionally, including an in-person learning campaign at our Corby site to create a refreshed energy for collaborative learning.


• Lead the development of a diverse and inclusive learning culture by embedding My Academy as an easy to use, global platform for people to connect, learn, and grow.


• Work collaboratively with the local learning and development (L&D) teams and the Group Centres of Expertise to support the delivery of global frameworks, KPIs and initiatives - creating a global learning community that collaborates and shares best practice., At RS, as well as the usual employee benefits you'd expect from a FTSE listed company, we've just introduced several new Family Friendly Policies including:

  Extensive knowledge and expertise in learning & development for a wide range of audiences and creating learning interventions in all formats.

• Commercially astute with the desire to see commercial change, and to link the learning agenda to business goals.


• Strong consulting skills to get close to business leaders, People Business Partners, and other COEs to understand their needs and support them with the most relevant and effective solutions to their capability building requirements.


• Desire to develop and grow into a Head of/ VP role in Learning and Talent development.
