Full Job Description

This role will be a key support to the provision of delivering potential M&A, Joint Venture and Strategic Partnership opportunities. You will support a variety of transactions including project administration, management and team administration.

What you'll do:

  • Support M&A team in the performance of a full business partnering service

  • Devise, manage and own the acquisition opportunity log for potential acquisitions, carrying out initial screening and responding to parties following initial introductions

  • Own and update the team project tracker for relevant opportunities and keep team members updated on latest position

  • Assist in the preparation and updating of project plans

  • Establish and maintain the risk log for relevant projects ensuring timely and appropriate updates

  • Co-ordinate project meetings, minutes and action plans

  • Assist in setting up and managing the virtual data room ensuring correct information is available and access is managed correctly

  • Support the budgeting and managing of costs in relation to the project, including providing monthly report on costs and forecasts

    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at varying levels

  • A good relationship builder, who is able to support and challenge in a constructive and effective manner

  • Excellent experience of administrative tasks and project management

  • Able to demonstrate a level of commercial knowledge and general business awareness to enable the post holder to work comfortably on relevant projects with different levels of management

  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint,

  • Good understanding and use of Teams, SharePoint and data rooms
