Reporting to the Event Manager and Editor, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales and editorial team. He will be responsible for the creation, planning, management, curation, and execution of multiple marketing campaigns, as well as having an integral role in the smooth running of the events onsite. Experience in the full event marketing mix is required; however, the drive and energy to succeed in a fast-growing company are equally important.

This role's main focus is managing and executing the full visitor/exhibitor/membership marketing campaigns.

A key element in this role is managing the Aesthetics marketing team to hit visitor and membership targets; planning, managing and adhering to marketing budgets; building and developing relationships with exhibitors and media & association partners; producing content & features; and developing and executing the full marketing campaign.,

  • Ensuring the Aesthetics' core values and vision messaging is integrated in all exhibitor/visitor/membership communications.

  • Managing and executing the Marketing team exhibitor and visitor marketing campaign delivery.

  • Playing a key role to ensure the smooth running of the event onsite.

  • Writing, curating and approving emails, planning email campaigns, telemarketing campaigns, social media and PPC campaigns.

  • Generating a website SEO strategy with the digital team and overseeing website audits

  • Delivering collateral through the full mix of channels - print and digital media, email, social and more - with intelligently managed segmented activity.

  • Establishing relationships and managing partnerships with industry associations and media.

  • Manage the team of marketers on this portfolio, as well as external third-party temporary staff.

  • Reporting and analysis post-event.

  • Attend a range of internal and external events, partnership events and competitor shows.

You are an ambitious marketing manager with experience in the full marketing mix, as well as the energy and drive to succeed in a growing company.

  • You have around 2 years of experience in a marketing manager role, with experience in working within events.

  • Proven experience working to and reaching targets. You have the drive to succeed and reach targets, from visitor and membership targets to digital registrations.

  • You thrive on working under pressure, and you have the resilience, attitude and enthusiasm to support the team through busy campaigns.

  • You are content-driven and an amazing proofreader and copywriter who can create a sparkling, benefit-led copy.

  • Proven experience in writing engaging, creative and informative copy for all key event assets, including user guides, event programmes, direct mail, newsletters, social copy, website copy, print adverts etc, and overseeing copy written by others.

  • You are a confident communicator and manager who is eager to develop and lead a results-driven team.

  • You have demonstrable skills working with websites, social scheduling, email management systems, and, of course, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Ability to work well in a team but also comfortable working autonomously in your own area of responsibility.

  • Confident on the telephone with a personable & helpful manner and the ability to encourage the team to hit weekly visitor call targets.

  • Acute attention to detail. Processes, deadlines, grammar & proofreading - these are things you take seriously, and you hold yourself to the highest standards in respecting them.
