Full Job Description

We are looking for a Patient Administrator to join our Endoscopy team on a fixed term basis until August 2024 (potential that it might be extended to a 12 month contract), at our Endoscopy unit in Glamorgan. As a Patient Administrator with InHealth, you will ensure our patients receive a professional and patient focused service throughout their diagnostic pathway. Working alongside your clinical colleagues in a dynamic, fast paced environment, you will also provide administrative support for the endoscopy services we provide. Shifts are 8am - 6pm, working 4 days a week, working days will be together, 37.5 hour contract. Flexibility to work every other weekend. What you will do: Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for all patients, coordinating their arrival through to departure Dealing with telephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring the provision of information and prioritisation of queries as appropriate Ensuring that
clinically validated appointments are booked appropriately and according to clinical priority on the appointments system Tracking and distributing imaging data and reports to referrers, ensuring that results are dispatched in line with clinical priority and contractual performance indicators Assisting in the completion of month end administrative procedures for the management team Ensuring all patients are invoiced promptly and accurately and that payment is taken on the day, recorded, and banked promptly About you: Experienced working in a customer or patient focused environment Confident using Microsoft packages and other IT systems Strong communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to work independently and as part of a multi skilled team
