PCDA Mar 25- Information Evening

There are few careers that offer the variety of a police constable and we are giving you a chance to meet some of them to find out more. Our apprenticeship offers you the chance to perform the role of Police Constable, developing operational competence, whilst attaining a degree in policing all within a county that is tackling big-city issues- whilst earning a salary at the same time.

This route normally takes three years with both on and off-the-job learning. On successfully finishing the programme, you complete your probation and achieve a degree. You will be expected to pass all of the academic modules that you sit each year in order to pass onto the next year of the course. You will also be expected to be fully operationally competent by the end of the course. This is delivered by Police Trainers and Lecturers at the University of Northampton.

We're giving you a chance to come along and speak with officers about what it really involves to become a police officer. We offer potential applicants a unique insight into the realities of life as a front line police officer. This is a great opportunity to see if life as a police constable is the right role for you.

A light-hearted and informal presentation is followed by a Q&A session, open to those considering a career with us.
