Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Portfolio Manager to manage a portfolio of generic pharmaceutical products to ensure financial targets are met and maximise the value of it through lifecycle management, utilising the strength & breadth of the range to optimise on market dynamics.,

  • You will manage a Portfolio of Generic Pharmaceutical Products (200 SKUs across various therapy areas)

  • You will manage the Product Lifecycle (Launch to Discontinuation)

  • You will manage Projects as set by line manager

  • You will identify the value adding line extensions / new product identification

  • You will work collaboratively with Commercial, Pricing and Demand Teams to make Product related decisions

  • You will analyse data to review performance profile of the Portfolio and recommendations / decision making based on outputs

  • You will contribute & develop Monthly Reporting

    A Degree (or equivalent)

  • ABPI (preferable, not essential)

  • Experience from within an FMCG / Pharmaceutical setting

  • Proven track record of Portfolio Lifecycle Management (Launch to Discontinuation)

  • Strong understanding of Commercial Finance

  • Performance and variance reporting capabilities

  • Project Management

  • Commodity Trading and NHS structure / UK Pharmaceutical Market knowledge

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint capabilities
