Full Job Description

To work on all production lines as requested & provide support to the Team Leader and Production Manager. To produce and pack product in accordance with the specifications and work instructions provided whilst working to the speed required. To demonstrate a commitment to food safety and the company's health and safety policies., General

· Producing finished goods on any line to the required specifications, lineside documents.

· Setting the Packing machines correctly and learning skills required to run efficiently, including troubleshoot issues. (Training Provided)

· Completing regular checks on the line including weights, dates, quality etc.

· Demonstrate an understanding of the daily plan and the work required to fit daily production needs.

· Ensuring that all paperwork is accurately completed in a timely manner and that full traceability of goods is maintained.

· Achieving and seeking to exceed efficiency targets for your line.

· Ensuring that all equipment is used in a safe and responsible manner, taking care not to damage company property.

· Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used effectively, kept tidy, and in the designated areas.

· Working and cooperating effectively with the Team Leaders to cover lines during the break times, staff lateness, sickness or absenteeism as required.

· Control wastage and portion control of your designed position on the line.

· Carry out any other duties as deemed reasonable by any member of the Management Team

Cleaning

· Maintain the food hygiene standards and procedures.

· Operate within Good Manufacturing Practises, including 'Clean as You Go'

Communication

· Maintain clear and open communication with colleagues, Line Leaders, and Managers.

Attendance and Time Keeping

· Being changed on time and ready to work at the start of your shift and after breaks.

· Clock in and out clearly for pay and time keeping monitoring purposes.

· Demonstrates the ability and potential to learn all aspects of the role including machine setting and control paperwork.

· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.

· Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

· Committed, disciplined and hard working.

· Flexible.

· High standard of personal hygiene.

Experience, skills and knowledge will include:
