Full Job Description

To complement our huge expansion plans for 2024 and onwards, we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Wren family at our state-of-the-art Head Office facility.

Ideally, we're looking for someone with at least 2 years experience. Wren is a fast-paced, innovative company built on people who drive the business forwards. The purpose of the role is to effectively monitor and track complex projects and deliver improvements which can involve multiple areas of our business.

Based at our head office, The Nest, you will work with many stakeholders and departments. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for projects from initiation to delivery. This will include being part of the scoping concepts, project initiation, coordinating multiple departments and aligning timescales to development and implementation.

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining project roadmaps, delivering project reports and data, making sure all projects are being developed on time and in budget. You will work closely with other business areas to make sure the project is implemented seamlessly.
You will engage with multiple IT and wider business project teams to focus the direction, remove blockers and increase the flow of development. You'll be the point of call working alongside our Business Analysts to keep stakeholders and IT Leadership team updated on progress.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Use Agile and Waterfall principles to understand the concept and requirements and gain a deep understanding of what the business needs.

  • Assessing the impact of change requests on projects and identifying the risks and benefits from their implementation.

  • Presenting strategy, process and product features to internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Working within multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables met specified requirements.

  • Support Business Analysts in all project activities.

  • Defining, and planning solutions to improve the planning software.

  • Reviewing and ensure projects are signed off before being passed to the development team.

  • Preparing proposals for proof of concept opportunities relating to new business opportunities across software development.

  • Reporting on key performance measures against project delivery.

  • Host regular meetings with relevant business departments to capture feedback and opportunities. Ensure communication plans are created and delivered for all projects.



  • At least 2 years project management experience

  • Working across complex, multi-functional teams

  • Have an eye for detail and continually strive for improvement

  • Confident presenting to Stakeholders and Directors

  • An excellent understanding of all Microsoft applications

  • Be forward-thinking with excellent people management skills

  • Process strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic and fast pace environment

  • Strong understanding of business goals

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Flexible approach to working hours
