Qualified Room Leader

The Allstar Community Academy (ACA) has vacancies for NVQ Level 2+ Qualified Afterschool club Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be working and leading our friendly team to deliver outstanding care whilst providing a safe, fun and stimulating environment for the children in our care.

As the Supervisor will work with all staff and oversee the planning, organising and take part in play and leisure activities for children aged 4 to 11 years.

You will ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are implemented, and provide reports as required.

Duties

· Provide fun activities for the children

· Assist at meal times and encourage good manners

· Ensure that each child is cared for to the highest possible standard with regard for their unique personalities.

· Carry out Risk Assessments & report any issues or concerns to higher management.

· To be familiar with current OFSTED Standards

· Attend staff meetings

· Keep up to date with relevant training

· Carry out any other duties as necessary

· Level 2+ in childcare or equivalent essential

· Enhanced DBS check required

· Experience desired but not essential

· To assist in the provision of children's play based activities that reflect their social, educational, physical and recreational needs of children

· Help ensure children's wellbeing and safety.

Training courses provided to enhance personal development.

Level 2+ in Early Years and Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
