Retail Sales Assistant

Bensons for Beds is looking for a new part time (32 hours) Sales Assistant to join your local store.

Are you customer focussed with the ability to understand peoples needs? Do you have retail experience? Are you passionate about good quality sleep and really comfy beds!?, We are looking for Sales Assistant with pride, passion and a positive 'can do' attitude, devoted to delivering impeccable customer service with professionalism, ensuring our customers have an outstanding store experience. Driven to achieve your sales targets. You will enjoy engaging with customers and can adapt your approach as appropriate to build rapport and establish their needs.

Ideally you will have worked in a customer facing role previously and have confident communication skills, being able to spot sales opportunities and be resilient and resourceful when you need to be, daring to try new things to help your store succeed.,

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

  Working on a full time basis, you will use your natural ability to build rapport with our customers and advise them on Sleep Wellness. Not only will you receive a competitive salary, you will also have the ability to receive a very generous bonus for the sales that you make, in a team that takes sleep seriously!


So, what will you do?

You will treat each customer with professionalism and respect, showing an empathetic approach to their individual needs. We will train you how to do all of this, we just need you to share our core values.

You will also take these customers through the sales process and complete any order paperwork and credit agreements required.

As well as that, you will support the Assistant store manager and store manager in keeping our Bensons For Beds store looking in tip top shape! Assembly and trying out new beds, rearranging our shop floor and keeping things clean and tidy.

In return for your contribution to the store's performance, we offer competitive base salary plus uncapped individual commission paid monthly on top of your salary once your minimum sales target is achieved.

On target earnings c£26k based on your target, but there is no upper limit to what you can earn beyond that!
