Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Sales Development Executive to join our rapidly expanding sales team and help scale our outbound lead generation. You will be focussed solely on the US market, generating leads and meetings in the US for our UK Account Executive team to follow up on. If you are interested in joining a mission-driven, entrepreneurial, dynamic team, this might be the dream job for you…, Based in our expanding sales development team, this role is to contact HR and People Leaders in the US to talk about how they are currently engaging with their teams and how the WorkBuzz platform can be used to deeply understand what is happening with their deskless workers, who we call 'EVERYDAY HEROES.' Your role is to book qualified meetings for our Account Executives so they can continue the conversation and ultimately bring them onboard as customers.,

  • Uncovering & developing new business opportunities via outbound calling, email and social selling techniques into targeted accounts in the US

  • Utilize our existing lead generation tech stack to search for and identify key contacts within target accounts

  • Following up on a high volume IQL's (information qualified leads) to kick-start conversations

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Account Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly & annual opportunity creation quota

  • Identify, process, and qualify leads into sales opportunities

  • Support a variety of outbound marketing programs

  • Be proficient in identifying key decision makers across our target customers and uncover the compelling events that will drive qualified opportunities for our sales organisation (i.e., BANT)

    Minimum of 1-2 years or more in an outbound focussed sales development role


  • Experience either living in or selling to the USA


  • A true 'hunter' with the desire and drive to proactively find the correct contacts within target accounts and use a multi-threaded approach to make contact and set meetings with them


  • Previously worked to KPI's to help deliver outstanding results


  • Success as a top performer in your current role


  • Ability to comfortably talk to senior decision makers at Director and above level


  • Persuasive verbal and written communication skills to articulate a value-based product


  • Super organisation to keep pace with a fast-moving business


  • Great collaboration skills within a sales team environment


  • Willingness to work 1-2 days minimum in our Milton Keynes office


  • Have a data driven mindset - a key focus on your goals and the data behind them


  • You must be positive, flexible, willing to learn, and constantly push yourself to succeed


  • Ability to adapt, contribute and succeed in a fast paced, rapidly changing, company environment

  • Nice to have (not deal breakers):
  • HubSpot CRM experience advantageous


  • HR Tech experience advantageous


  • Sold into HR Directors or a similar profile


  • Used LinkedIn Navigator to find and engage leads
