We're going places, so apply today and become part of our exciting journey., The Sales and Employee Expenses Ledger plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to sales invoices, employee expenses, and various banking transactions.

Your primary role will be to ensure that all sales invoices are raised in accordance with company policies and booking employee expenses while assisting on the associated treasury activities.

This position requires exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in financial systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Your daily duties will include:

Sales:

Raise sales invoices to the clients.

Maintain detailed records of sales invoices.

Employee Expenses:

Process and book employee expenses in a timely and accurate manner.

Reconcile employee expense accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Verify expense claims for compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Bank Reconciliations:

Complete bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of financial records.

Upload payments into the accounting system accurately and efficiently.

Assist on the reporting tasks.

Match direct debits with corresponding transactions and reconcile discrepancies.

Reconcile credit card transactions with bank statements and internal records.

  • Strong understanding of sales and expenses ledger processes, accounts payable principles, and financial accounting concepts.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g; SAP, Baan, Oracle, Sage)

  • Proficient in the use of Excel and tools within the software

  • Professional qualifications such as AAT, or equivalent are desirable

  • Previous experience in a sales ledger/accounts payable role, with demonstrable experience in the related role and responsibilities

  • Previous experience working in manufacturing companies working closely with other departments.
