Scheme Cleaner

Our Independent Living Service within Landlord and Community Services is recruiting for 2 scheme cleaners to join our friendly team. As our scheme cleaner you'll play an important part in helping us provide a supportive, caring and friendly environment for our sheltered living tenants.

The role will be based in one of our sheltered schemes in Leamington Spa, either Acorn Court or Chandos Court. You will be working 20 hours per week in the mornings from Monday to Friday. We're looking for someone reliable, thorough, and friendly, who can work on their own initiative and take responsibility for the common area cleaning tasks.

You will need to ensure all common areas are cleaned to the highest standards, in line with our procedures and health and safety requirements. We may also request that you assist with helping residents set up coffee mornings or other events that happen on the schemes. There will also be Guest Rooms to clean and launder and laundry rooms needing machines checking and cleaning.

The role also acts as a friendly face around the scheme for our residents and may need to signpost residents to other services within Independent Living or the wider housing service when the Sheltered Living Officer or Lifeline Response Officers are not on site.

This post is based in either Acorn Court or Chandos Court and is not suitable for home or hybrid working.
