About our school:

New Ways School is an Outstanding Independent SEN School, in South Birmingham, and caters for 11-17 year olds who have special education needs relating mainly to Autism.

The school offers an environment that is safe and low sensory alongside an ambitious curriculum which includes a suite of GCSE's and enrichment opportunities to ensure students achieve the very best outcomes possible and are fully prepared for their transition in to Further education, employment, training and adulthood.

Overview of the role of School Administrator:

· Provide an administrative function to the Senior Leadership Team

· Working closely with the Headteacher with a range of duties

· Welcoming students, staff and visitors of the school

· Communicating with central departments such as finance and HR

· Overseeing attendance data across the school

· Attending and minuting meetings with the Headteacher

· Working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead's to promote safeguarding across the school

· Understand young people with SEND

· Have excellent communication skill

· Can promote safeguarding in a school

· Have a warm and welcoming personality
