Full Job Description

RS Group is seeking a Senior Experimentation Specialist for a permanent role. As a Senior Experimentation Specialist, you will lead and enable various business units to execute high-quality experiments. You will provide hands-on coaching, guidance, and support from ideation to live activity, and develop scalable processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance experimentation efficiency and velocity across the global business.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coach and guide business units through the end-to-end experimentation process.

  • Onboard and enable new business units in experimentation.

  • Collaborate with data teams (User Experience Research, Voice of Customer, Customer Interaction, and Product Analysts) to identify and act on commercial opportunities for experimentation.

  • Develop and enforce governance and operational excellence guidelines for experimentation.

  • Execute quarterly maturity benchmarking activities with aligned business units.

  • Manage tools and capabilities for experimentation processes and reporting.

  • Facilitate ideation sessions for hypothesis generation and problem identification.

  • Evangelize the purpose of experimentation across the global business.

  • Work with software engineers to implement the global experimentation platform and ensure high-quality experiment results.

  • Create detailed test specification plans for product and engineering execution.

  • Develop and deliver experimentation training and onboarding programs.

  • Report on experimentation performance metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

    This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow your experimentation skills within a FTSE100 company with significant growth ambitions. There is potential for advancement to a Principal Experimentation Specialist or Experimentation Manager role, depending on your career aspirations.

  • Key qualifications and attributes include:
  • Experience driving business growth via experimentation in a similar senior role, either in-house or agency side, for well-known brands or enterprises.

  • Mastery of A/B Testing and experimentation principles, including ideation, hypothesis building, experiment design, execution, analysis, and results sharing.

  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

  • Leadership qualities: Passion, Humility, and Trust.

  • Inquisitive, open-minded, data-driven problem solver with a focus on customer experience.

  • Experience with experimentation platforms like Optimizely or Adobe Target.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record in designing and executing end-to-end experiments for enterprise organizations.

  • Ability to build scalable processes, standards, and practices for experimentation.

  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mediation skills.

  • Understanding of modern engineering, product, and UX principles.

  • Foundational knowledge of statistics and experimental concepts.

  • Proficiency in digital and behavioral analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and ContentSquare.

  • Demonstrated autonomy in achieving team and organizational objectives, managing time effectively, and delivering outcomes across multiple workstreams.
