We are looking for a motivated Finance professional to join us as Senior Finance Analyst who is looking for a next challenge, in their career and is looking for an opportunity to become part of Reporting Team family focusing on driving business decisions through insightful analytics and supporting HILTI business on financial topics within our vibrant Regional Finance Hub in Manchester.

In this role you will use our database and processes, reporting and analytical skills to support the delivery of all reporting activities across the Northern Europe Region composed of six countries. You will need to be curious and pro-active team-player focused on delivering excellent support for our stakeholders ranging from Analysts to General Managers. You will also be enthusiastic about finance and topics related with it and looking to develop further within Finance function.

What does the role involve?

In this role we do not want you just to report on the results but go step further and act as a business support representing reporting function on financial topics. With a wide range of stakeholders across finance and wider HILTI business we are looking to optimise business steering, via value-added reporting and analytics, and aiming to act as a consultant to our stakeholders.

In this role you will execute and further develop all required reporting activities for the Northern Europe region and its sales organisations, utilising technologies to retrieve and manipulate data such as Microsoft Excel and Access DB, Power Queries and Business Objects Analytics, and visualise data via Power BI.

Since this role is placed within Finance function you'll be tasked with creating business specific transparency of financial results and business performance and will help contribute towards performance management for the region via reporting efficiency and data excellence. Main key topics we are looking for you contribute will be compensation related reporting, OPEX and functional P&L's as well bring innovative solutions into our day-to-day tasks.

Accuracy and attention to detail will be key, you will need to always challenge and stress data integrity to ensure that our results are accurate and delivered within agreed SLA's. Depending on time of the year workload will vary since role requires support of annual, quarterly, and monthly reporting cycles in an accurate and timely way.

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in finance, business, or economics, Previous FP&A experience preferable but other Finance function experience will work as well.

  • Good understanding of general finance and accounting topics and desire to develop further within finance function is a must, everything else we can teach.

  • A person studying or looking to further study towards professional accounting qualification such as CIMA will help support further development in Finance function case.


  • Technical skills:
  • Database building skills using Excel and MS Access.

  • Understanding data visualisation tools such as Power BI.

  • Understanding of P&L statement and financial processes such as Accruals and Deferrals.


  • Other skills:
  • Good communication skills with the sense of working in the team.

  • Demonstrate leadership and coaching/training of others.

  • Critical thinking.

  • Analytical problem-solving skills and agile learning mindset.
