Join PS Connect as we embark on an exciting journey of transformation and innovation! We are currently seeking a dynamic Service Improvement and Development Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our services and transform the way Professional Services delivers its core functions.
As a key member of the PS Connect Senior Management Team, you will be integral in the identification of new ways of working and lead the delivery and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, fostering collaboration, driving innovation, while maximising the potential of digital solutions and software (automation, AI).
You will lead a dedicated team that supports the overall PS Connect service improvement and growth strategy.
Your experience does not need to be from within the HE sector but should be from an organisation of comparable size and complexity with a proven track record of driving transformation and delivering operational improvements.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards shared goals.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying new ways of working and driving tangible results.

    In 2022 UoE launched a new 2030 Strategy alongside an organisation restructure to support it to achieve its ambitions. As part of this restructuring, the University launched PS Connect, a shared service centre designed to transform the way Professional Services delivers its core services.
    PS Connect delivers user-focused, innovative services to staff, that uses data, Digital and AI solutions alongside highly skilled staff with a strong understanding of user experience, to underpin continual improvement.

    The starting salary will be from £48,350 on Grade G, depending on qualifications and experience.
