Sports Coach

Edstart Liverpool are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual with a passion for sports coaching to join the team in the summer holidays and beyond. Applicants will be required to teach a range of sports and activities during the summer period at our popular holiday club located in South Liverpool.

We are looking for driven and dedicated individuals, passionate about sport and physical activity and their ability to engage children across all school ages. We welcome applications from those who thrive on new challenges and the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of others.

There are also opportunities for the right candidate to deliver sport and physical education to children and young people in a number of primary school and nursery settings. Applicants will be required to work in line with the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study.

Edstart deliver a range of extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and during school holidays.

Responsibilities of an Edstart Sports Coach:
- To plan and deliver a range of high quality sports sessions
- Inspire young people to lead active and healthy lifestyles
- To teach lessons in line with Ofsted criteria and the PE national curriculum
- Work closely with Schools, Staff & Parents to build positive relationships

Own transport is beneficial as you will be required to travel to a number of locations
- Self motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching sport
- Previous experience in a school or sport environment would be highly beneficial
- Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and deemed safe to work with children
