Full Job Description

Your role will be to design and project manage, highway structural, surface maintenance, and capital improvement works/schemes, and manage the delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards. Identifying site technical problems and recommending solutions will also be part of your work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and self-motivated engineer to join our Structural Highway Maintenance Team at Warwickshire County Council., You should have experience in implementing civil engineering highway works, including inspecting, recording and reporting on construction projects, you are used to assessing temporary traffic management solutions.,

  • To be successful you'll need good communication skills both verbal and written, planning and organising and IT skills.

  • Knowledge of current design and construction standard and specifications and have a strong health & safety awareness.

  • The role requires the ability to travel across Warwickshire., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
