Full Job Description
- Offer personalised care and support for daily needs, including PEG feeding and epilepsy management.
- Engage service users with a variety of social activities, from disco nights and movie evenings to cooking and pampering sessions.
- Provide verbal prompting and full support, depending on individual needs and preferences.
- Ensure each stay is smooth and enjoyable, helping service users transition back into their routines effortlessly.
We are looking for passionate support workers to join our respite service for adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have additional complex needs such as epilepsy and require PEG feeding. Encombe supports up to eight people at a time, providing them with short-term stays that are both engaging and relaxing., Compassionate, supportive, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of people we support. - Ability to handle both relaxed and challenging shifts with a positive outlook.
- Enthusiastic about participating in and possibly leading a range of recreational and therapeutic activities.
