Teacher of PE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified PE teacher to contribute to the provision of A level PE and our vibrant programme of college sport.
The opportunity is for a part time fixed term Teacher of PE, teaching between 4 and 8 periods a week (one or two days) from September 2024 until February half term 2025. Dependent on teaching experience to date, the post will be paid from point 1 of the Teacher Pay Spine £30,500 FTE to point 9 £47,133 FTE. Full time teachers teach a maximum of 20 out of a possible 25 teaching periods (each of 65 minutes) in the College week.
The post is suitable for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher.
Given the importance of the provision of sport at scale, prior experience of working with a range of sports would be useful, as well as the ability to coach at least one major college sport. The applicant would also be physically able and willing to undertake their D1 minibus qualification to enable them to drive sports teams to weekly fixtures.
