Van Courier - Couriers

An opportunity has arisen for a, Owner/Driver Van Courier to join the Courier team based at our Birmingham location. Although the role is based the Priory Hospital, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to various locations within the UK.
The role involves collecting samples from clients and their safe and efficient delivery to the company premises, as well as the delivery of reports, supplies and other goods to clients. The position will also involve carrying out duties in line with the 'Courier Procedures Manual' and to ensure that communication procedures are operational during duties. This role will involve dealing with Blood Transfusion and Major Haemorrhage situations.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within the courier or healthcare field and at least 5 years driving experience. You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Please note, driving will take up a large part of your working day.

• 40 hours per week, 8 hour shift plus 60 Minute lunch
