Full Job Description

We are seeking a Vinyl Application technician where you will be responsible for applying custom vinyl decals to laptops and other electronic devices, ensuring a precise, secure and bubble-free finish. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, a keen eye for detail, and take satisfaction in transforming these devices and producing great end results!

This is work that the company currently outsources but is looking at bringing inhouse.

There is also scope for this role to expand to testing upgrading IT hardware and doing software installations.

Ideally we are looking for someone very expereinced in vinyls and vinyl application to lead our entry of this area....but for someone who has less broad experience but does have good experience application of vinyl and who has clear potential for progress then this role can also possibly be available as an Apprenticeship opportunity with a Business Adminsitration NVQ course.

Base Responsibilities:

  • Precisely apply vinyl wraps and decals to laptops and potentially other devices, ensuring alignment and accuracy.

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing debris to ensure optimal adhesion and finish.

  • Customize vinyl designs using cutting tools and software as needed.

  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

  • Manage inventory of materials and tools required for vinyl application.

    Experience in vinyl application, graphic installation, or a related field.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and software is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and complete projects within a deadline., GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
