Full Job Description

  • Design visually appealing website layouts and user interfaces.

  • Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, and WordPress.

  • Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Ensure websites are responsive, optimised for various devices, and meet best practices for usability and accessibility.

  • Perform regular website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.

  • Collaborate with the SEO team, to ensure best practices are followed

  • Provide other design services, such as brochures, social media graphics, logos and design for print solutions

    We are seeking a skilled and creative Website Designer & Developer who is proficient in HTML, CSS, and WordPress. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong technical skills, and the ability to build and maintain functional, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing websites. This role is primarily office-based, but we offer flexible hybrid working options., Proven experience as a Website Designer & Developer.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.

  • Extensive experience with WordPress, including theme customization and plugin integration.

  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.

  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • A portfolio showcasing your web design and development work.


  • Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and PHP.

  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)., Web design: 2 years (required)

    Competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
