Full Job Description

As a Behaviour Officer, you will monitor and support the overall behaviour and attitudes of students, looking to develop students with skills to achieve their individual potential. You will contribute to raising standards of student attainment; sharing and supporting the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

About the successful candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students

  • Promote good progress and outcomes by students

  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment

  • Work with the wider school, teaching team, SLT, SEND Team, and other pastoral support

  • Fulfil wider professional responsibilities

The building was part of Exeter University's Duryard Halls of Residence for nearly 100 years before becoming a school. In 2023, Thomas Hall School joined Reach South Academy Trust.

    About the Trust

    Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 17 academies in Devon, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviour's and curriculum principles.
