Full Job Description
The role will primarily be support focused, with a project-based activity where required, responsible for senior-level support escalations & infrastructure monitoring and working with the Technical Director with new implementations & upgrades of the customer's systems. You will be providing telephone & remote support, onsite support and consultancy across various-sized organisations within the Public and Private sectors. The organisation specialise in a wide range of software within Cloud, Infrastructure, Security & Networking, which are listed below;
Essential Experience:
- Active Directory, Group Policies, Azure AD
- Windows Server 2008 - 2022
- Microsoft Exchange - 2010 - 2016/Office 365
- Networking principals, DHCP/DNS, Switch Configuration
- Hyper-V or VMware (both would be great)
- MDM / InTune
- Anti-Virus, Firewalls & Backup Solutions (would be beneficial)
- Handle escalations from 1 st line colleagues
- Provide pre & post 2 nd /3rd-line technical support to any onsite issues.
- Carry out site surveys and create technical documentation.
- Where required, take the lead with various ongoing project-related work.
- Must be able to drive and have a vehicle due to the nature of site-based work
