Full Job Description
The normal hours of work would be Monday to Thursday 9.00am- 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm with one hour for lunch. Reporting to and supported by a Partner of the firm, you will be responsible for:
- Providing secretarial support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Manage the front desk, greeting clients and handling incoming calls.
- Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems.
- Handle the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Manage billing and invoicing procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Work alongside the office manager to conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments from clients.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as required, including but not limited to franking mail, scanning in and distributing mail, photocopying, filing and printing.
Previous experience in a business/administrative role is essential. - Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Accountancy practice experience (desirable)
- Previous experience with Sage 50 (desirable)

Offering a salary of up to £25,000 with a company pension scheme and 31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) plus holiday to cover the Firms shutdown between Christmas and New Year.
