Full Job Description

You will also be expected to support the Finance Manager, with the running of accounts functions, making entries onto the Sage system as directed.,

  • Administrate the sales ledger process.

  • Purchase order processing.

  • Administration of KANBAN system, purchases, and records.

  • Using Excel, Sage 50 accounts and payroll.

  • Payroll administration and processing.

  • Credit card reconciliations.

  • Credit control, BACS runs.

    We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team.


  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts / administration and be proficient in Sage 50 (accounts and payroll) and have a familiarity of Excel.,
  • Highly organised.

  • Experience and current familiarity of Excel, Sage 50 accounts and payroll is a must.

  • Sales invoice and application processing.

  • Purchasing using KANBAN principles, in-putting on purchase ledger.

  • Data entry and database administration.

  • Credit card and processing online payments.

  • Must be able to work 5-days a week in an office environment.


  • Due to the rural location outside of Southampton, you will need your own car or transport to get to the office, as there are no public transport links available.

    You must be eligible to work full-time in the UK and live in the Southampton area and have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
