Full Job Description

An experienced and patient nanny is sought for a lovely family based in CB4. There are 4 children who are 10,7,5 and 4 and the nanny is ideally available to start ASAP.
Two of the children (the two boys who are 10 and 5) have autism diagnoses so it would be valuable to have someone who has got SEN training/experience though training can be provided too.

Responsibilities:
Provide focused care and engagement for the 5-year-old boy diagnosed with autism and pathological demand avoidance and requiring intensive 1:1 care in the afternoon.
In collaboration with the parents, manage school and nursery pickups for all four children.
Supervise homework and educational activities particularly for the older children.
Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring nutritional needs of children are met.
Manage bath and bedtime routines.
Maintain organization of children's areas and manage their clothing, including ensuring items are ready for school and activities.
Collaborate with another part-time nanny who handles early mornings (and evenings as needed) and communicate effectively to ensure smooth transitions and consistent care.
Arrange activities during school holidays, with opportunities for additional hours during holidays, evening babysitting or occasional overnight stays.
Light housework such as moving laundry along, loading dishwasher, etc as time permits. There is a Housekeeper who comes in twice a week too.

Experience working with children with special needs and/or autism. Experience with demand avoidance is desirable, but training can be arranged.
Patience and flexibility to handle the dynamic needs of children with behavioral and emotional challenges.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple children's schedules.
Capability to engage in educational activities and provide supportive learning environments.
